Accommodation at Sancta Sophia College

Sancta Sophia is a lovely old building built around a central large and grassed courtyard. The meeting rooms and dining room are all on ground floor level. The main accommodation at the college is 140 single rooms. All rooms are student study bedrooms, with wardrobes, desks, lamps, fans. Bathroom facilities are available in each corridor. There are a limited number of special needs rooms. Tea and coffee making services and snack dispenser are provided in the lounge area. Laundry facilities with machines, dryer, irons and boards are available. The college and grounds are non-smoking areas.

Meals

The Sancta Sophia College accommodation fee includes bed and breakfast.
Conference Registration includes lunch, dinner, morning & afternoon tea. The first Conference community meal is dinner on Thursday 21st January, last meal is lunch on Monday 25th January.

Internet

Internet access is available at the computer centre. Individual internet connection is available in your room for $10 per day. This can be arranged with the Sancta Sophia Office on check-in, or during office hours during your stay. Phone connection for outgoing calls from your room is available on a user pays basis.

Parking

Limited off street parking is provided on the College grounds. Cost is $8 per day, booking is required with your car number plate as rangers will monitor and fine unbooked cars.

University Facilities

University campus sports and recreational venues close to the college include a gym, ovals, tennis and squash courts and the aquatic centre. Casual charges for pool only are $5.20.
