Refund / Cancellation Policy


The conference committee recognises that sometimes unforeseen or uncontrollable events may necessitate a change of plans. The following refund policy will apply in the event that someone is unable to attend the Sydney conference due to a change in their circumstances after they have registered and paid:
We will respond to all requests for refunds or other changes with a spirit of generous flexibility. Wherever possible we will endeavour to provide a full refund of monies paid for registration and accommodation. As a general guideline, we anticipate that a full refund will be possible if a cancellation request is received on or before Monday 4th January 2010.
After 4th January 2010 we may incur certain non-refundable catering and venue costs based on the registration numbers that have been confirmed. We reserve the right to retain a sufficient amount to enable ANZPA to cover these expenses at cost, but will refund the remaining balance. We will negotiate with our suppliers wherever possible to ensure that the maximum amount is refunded to individuals who cannot attend due to unexpected events.
