Programme Details

02 December, 2011

Some people often like to check out the details of the conference program prior to booking. As this has taken slightly longer than planned, the Conference Convenors have generously extended the early bird for one more week, through until the 8th. If this is you, then check the program and get your registration in, if you are coming! (p.s. that's the bonus)

The 'ANZPA 2012 Conference workshop session outlines with bio' is available as a pdf document. A copy is attached and it is also available for download from the 'Programme' section of the ANZPA Conference website. Presenters who would like to modify their presentation or negotiate where they are in the program, are welcome to do so by contacting Peter at peter@moreno.com.au. There are still a couple of spaces available, if you have finally arrived at a place where you can make such an offer, but only a couple.

The ANZPA 2012 Conference program has a variety of creative sessions reflecting the diverse professional backgrounds, and life experiences, of our membership. Thank you to all those who have offered their time for the conference. Your contribution will make it a rich experience.

Looking forward to seeing you soon

Update December 2011

01 December, 2011

We have less than six weeks to go until our no frills, and plenty of psychodrama, ANZPA 2012 Conference is being held in Brisbane. As convenors of the conference we are delighted with the no frills and many thrills way that the conference has come together. The program is looking great and is available on this website (button on left). We expect many spontaneous moments, spontaneous hours, and spontaneous meetings over the life of the conference.

There are a few air-conditioned, ensuite bedrooms still available @ Duchesne for those who would like to stay and have not yet booked. Also, there is accommodation in ensuite, non air-conditioned rooms, and other non air-conditioned accommodation with shared facilities.

Some reminders if you are planning on coming. Bring along: a hat, sunscreen, mozzie deterrents, water bottles, pens, paper and your own conference bag and, as part of no-frills and being green, please note that we rely on you printing your own copy of the program and bringing it along.

Please note: no conference bags, note paper, nor printed programs will be handed to you on registration. We rely on you bringing these with you. We will be posting the program on a wall adjacent to the foyer.

There are several members attending who are hard of hearing. One will have a note taker with her. The note taker has attended many psychodrama groups with this member. Translating in our psychodrama context is familiar to her. The note taker has an ethic of confidentiality. No other use is made of the notes taken. Further, we are investigating having the note taker typing her notes and putting them up on a screen for all to see during the AGM.

We look forward to welcoming you to the 2012 conference
See you in January

Registration Available

17 September, 2011

Conference registration is now available

The details of the two pre and two post conference workshops are available. They are booked at the same time as conference registration.

Conference Submission deadline extended
We are extending the deadline for conference session proposals until 27th September. For a variety of reasons the email used for submissions (peter@moreno.com.au) has not been working well and while I have great trust in the web-fairies, sometimes they are too slow. So please use the email address peterhowie@macquariehouse.com.au for sending conference session proposals.

Also, if you are a new or newish ANZPA member and want to present at the conference, please give it some thought, and consult your local trainers for guidance. If you are unknown to us, we may seek their recommendation or a consult.

Conference Accommodation
Accommodation this year is being organised by the venue, Duchesne College. Please use the forms available on the ANZPA web page to book your accommodation directly with them. There are other local hotels within walking distance and these are linked on the web site as well.

Cheers for now
